| HOW IT WORKS?

Legacy  PABX

OUTGOING CALLS: ATA (Analog Telephone Adapters) will accept all numbers called from PABX. Calls will then be routed by the ATA via identification and interpretation of the number string. For example, where a number keyed in begins with “**#”, calls will be made through the PSTN line (Telekom line) denoted by the RED lines on the diagram above, else calls by default shall be routed through VoB (Voice over Broadband Line) denoted by the BLUE lines on the above diagram.

INCOMING CALLS: The ATA has no effect on incoming calls. Incoming Calls will be routed through to the PABX as per normal passing through the ATA. The same will apply to VoB calls (VoIP calls through the Internet) denoted by the BLUE lines.
